Working with you as my coach helped me to get through a really difficult time of feeling stuck. I knew that I needed to find a way to get connected more to my professional purpose but couldn’t seem to make my way out of the “mire and muck.” Thanks to your support and guidance, I was able to experience and let go of the feelings I had about a lost educational opportunity. Sometimes one of the most difficult things is identifying the area that keeps us from moving forward to fulfillment in our lives. I often wondered why I felt “stuck” – and why I stayed “stuck” when really what I wanted was to make positive changes in my life.

With Elaine’s help, I could connect what I wanted to claim with the things holding me back from reaching what I wanted to achieve. Elaine has helped me to make some good, solid changes that I have been able to incorporate into my daily life. We worked together to pinpoint the action steps that I needed to make one change at a time.

I felt the Transition through Journaling sessions with Elaine were very effective for me in the most positive way. It was a small group of close friends and “acquaintance” friends and Elaine made it very easy for the group to share information that turned out to be very helpful for me personally. Thank you for gathering us and guiding us in this workshop. I learned that transition is a process and uncertainty is a part of the process. Writing and discussing our responses in the group helped me to sort my thoughts and bounce them off others. I now know that writing in any transition will be helpful in the future.
